The Ensign Singers Present: "In Remembrance"

‌An evening of music that speaks to loss, hope, and the transcendent mystery beyond.

Featuring Duruflé’s superlative "Requiem" for choir and organ, performed on BYU’s new 4,600-pipe Létourneau organ.

The program also includes Caroline Shaw's contemporary work "and the swallow" and the swallow by Caroline Shaw, and Jonathan Goldberg's God With Us.

The Ensign Singers, a community chamber choir formed in 2019, performs masterworks of sacred choral literature and newly-composed gem. The choir is conducted by David Kime, assisted in this season by Amanda Capener. Organist Andrew Fellows joins the choir in their performance of the Duruflé Requiem.
