All Jazz Big Bands, Jazz Voices, and the Jazz Legacy Band will be continuing during the Winter 2025 semester as formed in the Fall 2024 semester. If there are any holes that need to be filled, auditions will be by invitation from the directors and/or the studio teachers.

Bring a jazz standard of your choosing to perform and/or improvise over (we will use Learn Jazz Standards or iReal Pro as a backing track). Be prepared to sight read and improvise (by ear and sightreading changes) on materials we will provide. If you are not comfortable playing a prepared jazz standard then feel free to bring an etude or transcription instead.
IMPORTANT—Fall Auditions will be for the entire academic year (September 2024-April 2025).
