She has directed/written music for at least 3 other musicals in her past, such as Descendants: The Musical and Give Me Liberty. In 2017, Sunny wrote a music album for the organization BELIEVE International, which sponsors students in the Philippines to gain an education. She toured to the Philippines in February of 2020 to perform her album in the BELIEVE school assemblies across the Philippines. Her family has a well-known Filipino pop singing group, named TORCH Family Music, that has had Tagalog music go viral into the 25+ millions of views on social platforms. Her group is in the works of releasing more original Tagalog songs and albums, having just toured the Philippines/Korea again in April-May 2024. Their YouTube channel has over 102k subscribers, earning them the award of a silver play button from YouTube in the summer of 2024. Sunny is thrilled to be teaching songwriting at BYU and looks forward to the many continued opportunities that will come with her music influence in the future years.
