Biography

Nadia Englund is a performer and teacher with more than twenty years of experience working with singers of all ages. At the University of Utah School of Music, she has taught French, German, and Italian Lyric Diction, Vocal Literature, Vocal Pedagogy, Pre-Performance Voice, and Applied Voice Lessons.

After completing a Bachelor of Music in vocal performance at Brigham Young University, Nadia pursued graduate studies in vocal performance at Boston University before completing a Master of Music at the University of Utah, where she is now finishing the Doctor of Musical Arts.

Her recent operatic roles include Mimì in Puccini’s La Bohème, the title role in Suor Angelica, and the Queen of Hearts in the orchestral premiere of A.L.I.C.E. Nadia also performs each week in Music and the Spoken Word as a member of the Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square.

Nadia and her husband, Jason, are the parents of four children.
