Douglas Ewart with Group for Experimental Music

The BYU Group for Experimental Music (GEM) welcomes guest artist Douglas Ewart—a renowned performer, composer, and activist. Ewart will perform his own works and lead faculty performers and GEM in a collaborative performance that includes free improvisation and other guided structures created by Ewart and others. Douglas Ewart’s residency is supported by the Laycock Center and the Barlow Endowment for Music Composition at BYU.
