FAMILY CONCERT SERIES

2024-2025 BEVERLEY TAYLOR SORENSON FAMILY CONCERT SERIES AT BYU

All family members are encouraged to attend regardless of age, infants on up.

Created to introduce the joy of music to children of all ages, make fun family memories by attending the BYU Family Concert Series. All concerts are approximately 40 minutes in length, just right for families!

GAME ON, ORCHESTRA!

BYU Philharmonic, Nathan Haines, conductor
Saturday, September 28th, 2024, 11am and 1:30pm (2 performances)
Concert Hall, Music Building
Move, clap, follow musical maps, and level up as we explore music from video games and other classics with the BYU Philharmonic Orchestra and conductor Nathan Haines. The whole family will have a wonderful experience! Rob Dunn will narrate the concert.

Reserve general seating for this concert here.

*Your spaces will be held until 5 minutes before the concert. At that point, all seats will be released for patrons without reservations.

**Performances of Game On Orchestra! will be shown at 11am and 1:30pm. Please only reserve seats for one of these times.

BAROQUE JAM SESSION!

BYU Baroque Ensemble, Alexander Woods, conductor

Vivaldi and Bach will never be the same! Join the BYU Baroque Ensemble as they add their own flavors to melodies from the past. Fun for the whole family!

Bring the entire family to enjoy opera stories of the Old West, including women helping with the transcontinental railroad, a squabble in a saloon, and a legend about a ghost!
*Note that this performance will be in the West Campus Mainstage Theater (formerly Provo HS). Seating is limited.

WILD WIND SYMPHONY!

BYU Wind Symphony, Shawn Smith, Conductor

Prepare to be amazed by the sounds of brilliant brass, wondrous woodwinds, and powerful percussion! Join us as conductor Shawn Smith and the BYU Wind Symphony perform a musical concert that will light up your imagination with pictures, narration, and music based on the popular children's book, Wild Symphony, book and music by Dan Brown. Fun for the entire family!
