Wynton Marsalis & Lincoln Center Orchestra Coming to BYU: February

The Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis (JLCO) comprises 15 of the finest jazz soloists and ensemble players today. Led by Wynton Marsalis, Jazz at Lincoln Center Managing and Artistic Director, this remarkably versatile orchestra performs a night of unforgettable jazz.

Engagement Opportunities

A Q&A session will be held on Tuesday, February 15, at 5:30 PM, in the deJong Concert Hall prior to the evening performance. This is a great experience that offers students a chance to interact with Wynton Marsalis and learn more about his extensive experience as a musician. 

The COVID safety guidelines for the JLCO with Wynton Marsalis event and masterclass scheduled for February 15, 2022 in the deJong Concert Hall are as follows. All patrons ages 12 and older are required to present proof of full vaccination from COVID 19 or proof of a negative COVID test taken within 72 hours of the start of the event to gain access to the concert hall. Home tests will not be accepted. Additionally, masks securely covering the nose and mouth must be worn by all guests 6 years and older throughout the entire event.
