Choral Conducting

The choral conducting division has a strong tradition of training excellent choral conductors and educators. The graduate program offers students more podium time than many other master’s-level programs. Students are mentored closely by the choral conducting faculty and work with both non-auditioned and auditioned choirs. Graduates have gone on to pursue doctoral studies at the Eastman School of Music, University of North Texas, Michigan State University, University of Southern California, University of Arizona, and other top programs as well as lead choirs at the secondary, college, and professional levels.
