During Spring term the BYU Singers toured Indonesia, including Bali, Jakarta, Bandung, Yogyakarta and Java. Throughout the tour, the singers performed at prestigious venues such as the Ministry of Education and Culture, the Indonesian Institute of the Arts (ISI), and St. Francis Xaverius Church. Many of their performances were in conjunction with some of the country’s top choirs.

In addition to performing, students also had the chance to see the country’s rich history and natural beauty. They visited Indonesia’s top tourist destination, Bali, as well as the Borobudur Temple, which is the largest Buddhist temple in the world and was constructed in the 9th Century, and the Prambanan Temple, which is the largest Hindu temple in Indonesia.
