Janielle Christiensen

Janielle Christensen became active in professional theater and music at an early age, co-hosting a daily television show at 12 and playing with the Musicians Union at 14. As artistic director of the BYU Living Legends and formerly of the Young Ambassadors, Christensen has traveled around the world, bringing uplifting family entertainment to millions of people. Janielle serves as Artistic Director for the annual Homecoming Spectacular in the Marriott Center. She recently received the College of Fine Arts and Communications Administrative Award for Excellence. For the past 30 years, Janielle has been involved in producing and directing summer theater, trade shows for national corporations, a family-oriented TV series, and large multi-media outdoor pageants. Christensen served as member of the Board of Advisors and as a producer/director for Promised Valley Playhouse in Salt Lake City. She was the producer of the Sesquicentennial Spectacular in Cougar Stadium in 1997, and most recently served as associate director and media spokesperson for Light of the World during the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City.
