BYU’s University Bands will perform Apr. 4 at 7:30 p.m. in the de Jong Concert Hall in the Harris Fine Arts Center at BYU.
The performance will include BYU School of Music’s two non-auditioned bands performing a program of concert classics for their end-of-semester performance.
The groups will perform under the direction of Fred McInnis and Felicia Wisniewski. The performance will include works by John Philip Sousa, Hans Zimmer, William Schuman and more.
Due to its immense popularity, the BYU University Band was split into two to accommodate students from across campus. Open to all wind and percussion students, the University Band is separate from the Cougar Marching Band and enables music students to hone their skills on secondary instruments of their choice.
Tickets are $10 for the public, $9 for alumni or seniors and $6 for those with BYU or student IDs. Tickets are available in person at the BYU Ticket Office in the Harris Fine Arts Center or Marriott Center, by phone at 801-422-2981 or online at byuarts.com.
