Since its founding, Gamelan Bintang Wahyu has sought to learn from and collaborate with expert Balinese artists whenever possible. Our guest directors and guest dancers have included some of Bali’s finest virtuosi.

Students led by guest director I Made Lasmawan perform kecak, or the so-called Balinese “Monkey chant.”
In March 2009 the ensemble performed with master Balinese musician I Ketut Gede Asnawa, his wife, the dancer Putu Oka Mardiani, and their daughters, Tarika, Yuni, and Yoni, at the Festival of Colors at the Sri Sri Radha Krishna Temple in Spanish Fork, Utah.
